An Interview with an Anti-Anne Rice

I know as I write this down I would be getting a lot of raised eyebrows and probably a few scoffs when I'm through. So I'm not going to over-verbalize my thoughts ... else I might get a couple of stinky tomatoes as well.

I find Anne Rice novels a dud. I tried, persevered, pushed through, whatever you want to call it, I really did try to stick to reading it. I really did. I sat down and read through pages and pages of it only to find in the middle of my reading that what I was doing made me feel like I'm doing chores! I tried reading Blood and Gold for the sake of this blog but I would be lying to myself if I kept on with it. I'm a self-confessed bookworm but at least I  enjoy the things I read about and really have been entertained by them, maybe caught a couple of life-shattering realizations. And yes, I am an avid fan of fiction and fantasy books, but these books left me looking to my bookcase in search of better things to read.

Sorry na lang to my cousin who insisted that I read Blood Gold and Blackwood Forest. Es, sorry!!! Pahiram na lang ng Artemis Fowl ung Book 1.
